ROYAL OAKSHOME CARE ASSISTANCE

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 29, 2026

Royal Oaks Home Care, Inc. (“Royal Oaks,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a licensed home care agency in Boca Raton, Florida. We respect your privacy and the privacy of the people you care about. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website, royaloakshomecare.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have.

The short version: we only collect what you choose to send us, we use it to help you, we never sell it, and the Site does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies.

1. Information you give us

We collect the information you type into the forms on our Site:

  • Consultation and contact forms: your name, phone number, email address, the services you are interested in, a preferred day and time for a call, and any message you write.
  • Caregiver job applications: your name, address, phone numbers, email address, availability, languages, education, certifications, and the names and phone numbers of your references. Please let your references know before you list them.
  • Newsletter signup: your email address.

We also keep a record of phone calls, texts, and emails you send us directly, just as any business would.

2. Information collected automatically

The Site does not use analytics tools, advertising trackers, social media tracking pixels, or tracking cookies. Our fonts and images are served from our own Site, not from third-party services.

Like nearly every website, the servers that host the Site automatically keep basic technical logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and the date and time. These logs are used only to keep the Site secure and working properly, and they are not used to build a profile of you.

If we ever add analytics or other tracking, we will update this policy first.

3. Health information

Our forms are meant for getting in touch, not for sharing medical records. Please do not include detailed medical information, diagnoses, insurance member numbers, or Social Security numbers in a web form. A case manager will discuss your loved one's care needs with you by phone or in person.

Health information we receive while providing care to our clients is kept confidential and is handled under our client service agreements and applicable federal and Florida law, separately from this website policy.

4. How we use your information

We use the information you send us to:

  • respond to your questions and schedule your free consultation;
  • plan and provide home care services if you choose to work with us;
  • review job applications, contact references, and hire caregivers;
  • send our newsletter, if you signed up for it;
  • keep the Site secure and prevent spam and abuse; and
  • meet our legal, licensing, and record-keeping obligations.

Background checks for job applicants are only run with the applicant's separate written authorization, as required by law.

5. Phone calls and text messages

When you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your inquiry, your consultation, your care services, or your job application. We will not send you marketing text messages unless you have agreed to receive them.

You can ask us to stop calling or texting you at any time by telling us during a call, replying to a text, or contacting us using the details below. Message and data rates from your phone carrier may apply.

6. How we share information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their marketing. We share it only:

  • with service providers that help us run the Site and our business, such as our website host and email provider, who may use it only to provide those services to us;
  • with the caregivers and staff who need it to arrange and provide your care;
  • when the law requires it, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of our clients, caregivers, or others;
  • as part of a merger, sale, or transfer of our business, subject to this policy; or
  • with your permission.

7. How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, including any period required by law for client and employment records. When we no longer need it, we delete it or store it securely until it can be deleted.

8. How we protect information

The Site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we limit access to the information you send to the staff who need it. No website, email system, or computer is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and will notify you if required by law.

9. Your choices and rights

You can contact us at any time to:

  • ask what personal information we have about you;
  • correct or update your information;
  • ask us to delete your information, unless we are required to keep it by law;
  • unsubscribe from our newsletter; or
  • stop calls and text messages from us.

We will respond to your request within a reasonable time, and we may need to confirm your identity first.

10. Children's privacy

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Links to other websites

The Site links to other websites, such as our social media pages, Google Maps, and sources cited in our blog posts. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please review their privacy policies when you visit them.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top. Please also see our Terms of Service.
